This sometimes happens for a number of reasons:

the TransferWise referral offer is no longer live
the TransferWise promo code you've been given may only work in certain countries
the person that owns that refer a friend code is no longer a TransferWise customer
you're already a TransferWise customer, referral incentives are for new users only
the TransferWise invite code you've been given is wrong

What are the terms of the TransferWise refer a friend offer?

You can earn the invite reward multiple times
To count towards your invite reward, each friend who signs up using your invitation has to complete a single transfer involving conversion for at least 200 GBP (or its equivalent in another supported currency) to be considered as a qualified referral.
Same-currency transfers don't count towards your referral program.
Friends using your link to sign up will receive a discount on their first transfer fee. (The free transfer credit does not cover credit card fees which may be charged by the card processor.)
Each invitee can only qualify towards one referral program, should your referral program be changed.
If your friends make a transfer for less than 200 GBP, the transfer is still free, but won't count towards your referral award. If at any point in the future they complete a single transfer over 200 GBP, they will be included in your list of successful invites, counting towards your reward. Please note that the 200 GBP amount is not cumulative and must be made in a single transfer to count as a successful invite.
The standard reward amount is 50 GBP (or equivalent), but the reward may vary in different regions, or during special promotional periods or campaigns. Different terms and conditions will be shown in the referral invitation or accompanying promotional materials. You can see what program you are enrolled in from your invite page.
